VINCENZO NIBALI Birthday in November

Vincenzo Nibali was born on November 14, 1984.The Italian rider had success in the Grand Tour events.
In fact, Nibali was the 6th man to win all three Grand Tours in his career.
Nibali won the 2010 Vuelta a Espana in front of Ezequiel Mosquera of Spain and Peter Veltis of Slovakia.
Nibali also won the 2013 Giro d'Italia in front of Rigoberto Uran of Colombia and Cadel Evans of Australia.
In addition, Nibali won the 2014 Tour de France in front of Jean-Christophe Peraud of France and Thibaut Pinot of France.
Nibali was 3rd in the 2010 Giro d'Italia behind Ivan Basso of Italy and David Arroyo of Spain.





In addition, Nibali was 3rd in the 2011 Giro d'Italia behind Alberto Contador of Spain and Michele Scarponi of Italy.Nibali was 3rd in the 2012 Tour de France behind Bradley Wiggins of Great Britain and Christopher Froome of Great Britain.
Nibali was also 2nd in the 2013 Vuelta a Espana behind Chris Horner of the USA.
Nibali also won the Tour of Lombardy in 2015 and 2017.

VITTORIO ADORNI What a great gentelman



Vittorio Adorni was born on November 14, 1937.

Adorni won the Giro d'Italia.
He also won the World Championship Road Race.
In addition, he was a mentor to Eddy Merckx.
The Italian rider won the 1965 Giro d'Italia in front fellow Italians Italo Zilioli and Felice Gimondi.
Adorni was also 2nd in the 1963 Giro d'Italia behind Franco Balmanion of Italy.
In 1968, Adorni taught Eddy Merckx of Belgium how to properly eat and rest during a Grand Tour.
Merckx used this knowledge to not only win his first Grand Tour, the Giro d'Italia, but also the Mountains and Points jerseys as well, the first time ever this was done in a Grand Tour.
Adorni finished 2nd to Merckx in that race.
Adorni won the 1968 World Championship Road Race in front of Herman Van Springel of Belgium and Michele Dancelli of Italy.
Adorni was also 2nd in 1964 World Championship Road Race behind Jan Janssen of Holland.
